Originally from New Plymouth, Taranaki, alumna Sarah McCarrison’s path has taken her across continents, from the Australian Outback to the classrooms of China and Singapore, and back home again to teach at Green School New Zealand. For her, education has been a journey of creativity, connection, and purpose.

Green School New Zealand’s Kina building opened in late 2022 by founders Michael and Rachel Perret and celebrated by an excited student body, community and visitors.

Green School New Zealand’s out-of-this-world Waka buildings were designed and built in 2021 by local architecture firm BOON and Livingstone builders.
