IMMIGRATION NEW ZEALAND VISAS

New Zealand enjoys welcoming visitors. If you are from a visa-waiver country you can simply apply for the NZeTA (Electronic Travel Authority) to enter for up to 3 months OR you will need to apply for a Visitor visa online. Visiting New Zealand and Green School for a "look and see" trip is an exciting opportunity to get first-hand impression before enrolling your child as an international student.

Once enrolled, International Students and accompanying family members will need to apply for the right visas for their circumstances.

Fee Paying Student Visa – for international students who have received an “Offer of Place” at Green School.
This visa will be granted for the duration of the enrolled programme.

Guardian Visitor Visa – granted to parents of a child who holds a Student visa which allows them to live in
New Zealand and care for the child for the same duration (and allows remote work).

All family members will need to meet health and character requirements and show evidence of being able to
financially support themselves whilst living in New Zealand.
